- Along these same lines, if I were to take my 2000 WB1.3 (yeah, I
- know) and get one of these 23 to 15 pin adapters, could I use a VGA
- monitor in the (newbie alert) "regular" low res mode, so I can save myself
- some $$$ by not having to buy a 1084 monitor? In other words, would
- the VGA monitor be just as graphically capable as a stock C= 1084? Also,
- is that adapter just a pin-to-pin adapter, or are there electronic
- components involved. If it's just a matter of re-routing the pins, I
- could make my own cable.
